2025 Retrospective

As this year comes to a close, I would like to write a few of my thoughts regarding it. A lot has happened in my personal life, a lot of bad and good. I started this year certain that I would have the sequel to my visual novel, “Deer Fables: Beginnings,” finished, or at the very least, have assets for it ready.

Unfortunately, due to life getting in the way. I ended up spending this year mainly reorganizing the story. As disappointing as it is to not have much to show for it now, I am very proud of the changes I’ve made, and I feel it was to the story's benefit to spend the year working out its flaws! It’s still heavily in the works, of course-

But I’m leagues better compared to where I started! Sometimes, it’s far more beneficial to take your time rather than jumping into a project without having a proper foundation!

Anyhow! Here’s to a far better year coming into 2026!
